Okay...let's start with the negative and get that over with...
So on my way back from Edinburgh I did end up getting stopped. While they acknowleged that I did leave the country, I still wasn't equiped with the visa needed for American Au Pairs, which I didn't know about. Long story short, I'm being unofficially deported and will be home next week = (. So, it sucks, but there really isn't much I can do about it if I don't want a criminal record. Luckily my host family is being very nice and supportive and helping me enjoy my last week in Ireland.
As for some good news, yesterday was Pancake Day here. It's like our Fausnaut day, only better! You don't jsut have normal, plain pancakes, you get special pancakes. For lunch I got a ham and cheese pancake (tastier than it sounds) and in the afternoon we had chocolate and cream pancakes...yum!! I heard the girls got banana ones last night while I was at yoga.
Not too much else is new here. I'm just making the most of my last few days here. Please don't freak out or feel sorry for me, because there is nothing anyone can do. It happend. It sucks, but it's happening. I look at it as a new life experience I've gotten to have and check off my to-do list!
I hope all is well!
