cough. sneeze. cough. sneeze. die.

Hello.
Today I'm reporting to you, sick = (. I've caught whatever has been going around here. I belive I mostly got it from the girls, who have a tendancy to climb on me, then sneeze in my face or give me a nice hacking cough... Claire thinks its the change in weather.
Other than my sickness, the top story of the day is....Katie lost another tooth! The one right next to the other one that fell out. Now she has a nice big hole in her mough as she's missing her bottom two front teeth. Nicknames have been circling around the house for her. Claire calls her "Miss Gappy" which she doesn't like, I call her "my little hockey player" which she doesn't get, and the twins call her "Princess Tooth-loser-fairy" which she rolls her eyes at. Sadly, the tooth fairy will not be making her presance tonight. Katie has decided to hold onto the tooth (which is currently occupying a shoebox in her room) until her Daddy comes home from NYC on Saturday Morning.
In other exciting news, The internet guy is scheduled to come on Friday!! Then I'll have internet in the cottage!! Granted his appointment is scheduled for Friday the 13th, so there is a large chance of a mishap here.
The Clerkin residence seems to be the epicenter for mishaps lately. As the house a property are currently being invaded by: The builders, the architect, the gardeners, the cable guy, the plumber, and the electrition! The past few days have been hectic, because they all keep comming earlier and earlier in the morning. Where on one hand, you ahve to admire their spunk and determination to fix everything, but on the other hand, they are here before the girls leave. And seriously, the concept of eating breakfast, getting dressed and ready is a difficult concept for 6 and 4 year olds and now you want to add distractions! UGH! Needless to say, getting to school ontime has been a challenge.
Not much else is new here at the moment. I think I'm going to return to my cottage, crawl back in bed, and resume my Simpsons Movie. Wish me luck in feeling better quickly!!

PPS- The sports channel this morning decided to play hockey highlights again, but since the universe hates me, they only showed the Pitt v Det game and the ATL v Stupid jerk-face Flyers game. Where in all my boys lost miserably = (. It was depressing. On the plus side, I did get to watch Hossa being boo'd! That brightened my morning considerably!!!!!
PPPS- I also decided if I had to choose between liking Hossa or the Flyers... I'd pick the Flyers. That should tell you something!
