Greetings from Dublin!!
Today was quite a rainy windy day, yet that didn't stop Anna and I from being tourists! I worked this morning, which went better than it had been. I was in charge of taking the girls to school this morning - always an interesting experience- but we made it! On time I might add, despite Laura's desperate pleas to convince me that we were terribly late and it was all my fault. You see, yesterday, she got a watch, and despite her inability to tell time yet, it has not stopped her from reminding me that I'm either too late or too early.
Once I was all done with work, I headed back to the cottage for about an hour before Anna and I headed downtown. We walked all the way into the city center today, and didn't get lost once! yay us!! We made our first stop at Dublin's Hard Rock Cafe for me to get my bear! He's in a leaprachan costume, and is cute until you put the hat on him, so I just leave that slung over his shoulder for the time being.
After that, we discovered we were only 1 block away from the main drag - O'Connolly St. and went in search for a pub for lunch. We went to a really nice place calle Lotts, which had these massive booths, which I was wayyyy too short for. I had to sit on the very edge just to reach the table. Lunch was a good time. The service was crazy slow, but the food was good. Also Anna learned about animals. I'm not sure how the topic came up but we were talking about the farmshow and I mentioned how a lot of people by me put their animals in it. When giving examples, I mentioned that my one friend has llamas. We both said we're not big fans of them, and the only good one was in the "Emporor's New Groove". Then Anna said it...
"I don't really get the point of llamas, I mean I guess they give you eggs, but then what..."
It was at this point where I was incharge of explaining that llamas are mamals and therefore do not produce eggs. After a good long laugh, with many people glaring, we still were unable to figure out the use of llamas....Anyone know?
Once we finished lunch, we asked around for direction to this Asian Art Museum that Anna 'claims' she heard about on our bus tour the other day. Everyone we asked said they never heard of it, so we decided to meander around for awhile. We found the ILAC shopping center and checked out some stores - Anna got a blanket, and then re-hit this one tourist shop chain, where she picked up a few more knic-knacks to take back home. We luckily were able to figure out the bus system and made it back home in one shot! We're currently relaxing at the cafe in Rathmines and enjoying a quiet evening of catching up on e-mail...still no internet in the cottage. I hope everyone in the states are well! I'm still looking to see if I can watch the Superbowl this weekend. If not, you all have to cheer for me!!
***LETS GO STEELERS***
In other news, the construction on the garden is making incredible progress! They've been working infront of the cottage alot, but now I have a courtyard, with a wall!! I'm excited! I can't lie, I miss my planks. I wish I took their picture... Oh well, I have a courtyard!!!
I just figured out how to get one picture up!! YAYY. I think I'll have to do them one at a time hahaha.

The girls are so cute!! It sounds like you and Anna are having a great time. Since you have a courtyard now, you will be able to go and sit outside if it every stops raining and relax. I am so glad to hear that you got your Hard Rock bear. It sounds really cute. Keep in touch!! I will cheer for the Steelers for you, nice and loud. The states are going well. The other day some women in CAL. had 8 babies and she already for 6 children. Yes both of them all at the same time. That is a lot of kids. She is a single mother and she has her own hockey team. Have a good day!
